OGA Teacher
Consultant grant applications are now available on-line in pdf format. The following grants are available for OGA TCs: 1- Grants
for All Teachers
Family Geography: OGA Teacher Consultants may apply for grants for family geography programs in their schools. Individual grants up to $500; groups of TCs may apply for up to $1500. OGA has a Guide to Family Geography Night to help you plan your event! Teaching Incentive: These grants are intended for materials for actual instruction, such as: classroom atlas, videos, software, paperback books and special supplies needed to complete a project. Grant monies cannot be used to finance workshop/conference fees, or travel. Individual grants up to $1000; groups of TCs may apply for up to $3000. Travel Grants: OGA supports its Teacher Consultants representing OGA at conferences, seminars, and workshops by providing a stipend to offset costs incurred by the Teacher Consultant. These costs may include registration, travel, lodging and meals. The maximum stipend offered for out-of-state travel is $550 and maximum stipend for in-state travel is $150. |
