PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

GIS Program Supervisor, Metro Data Resource Center, Portland Oregon (July 1998-Present).
Manage the Data Resource Center’s Storefront operations, personnel, technical and physical environment. Oversee the daily operations of the retail map counter, as well as the electronic storefront. Manage professional staff of 4 GIS analysts involved in mapping and analysis in for public and private sector clients in the Portland Metro area.
Research and development of new technologies: E-commerce, Web development, Data Warehousing and Enterprise/Regional Geographic Information Systems, Intranet applications.

GIS Analyst, Metro Data Resource Center, Portland Oregon (September 1989 to July 1998).
Project manager for DRC. Worked with regional partners and private sector clients on multiple GIS and mapping projects. Develop and build data and mapping layers for input into the Regional Land Information System (RLIS); Develop Arc Info Macro Language (AML) for quality control routines to insure data integrity. System Administration duties for multiple UNIX servers and workstations, including SUN Solaris and HPUX operating systems.

Adjunct Professor, Department of Geography, Portland State University, Portland Oregon (8/97 to 8/98).
Taught undergraduate level classes in GIS and Cartography.
